Viola
1799 | Andreas Carl Leeb
This is a highly individual and elongated model. The instrument is in original condition. The neck and probably also the bass bar are original. The instrument's fittings correspond to the classical set-up: a stained fingerboard, a veneered tailpiece and boxwood pegs with bone buttons. (bd)
Literature: Rudolf Hopfner: Franz Geissenhof and His Time, Bergkirchen 2009, p. 255.
