Violin
1834 | Nicolaus Sawicki
This violin was made upon a Stradivari model. The two-piece belly is made of very fine and consistently structured wood. The back is in one piece, with broad, regular flaming that slants downward toward the treble side. The neck - and probably the fittings - are original. (bd)
Literature: Rudolf Hopfner: Franz Geissenhof and His Time, Bergkirchen 2009, p. 283
