This clay writing set is decorated with corals and snail shells and has four drawers, two of them were used to keep ink and plotting sand. The Front- and backsides are decorated with reliefs of the four Evangelists. The lid shows the Mount of Olives with Christ praying and the sleeping apostles Peter, John and Jake.
