Seated statue of Seni-ankh

13th Dynasty, ca. 1786-1665 BC

This temple statue depicts an overseer of sealers named Seni-ankh who wears the typical costume of a high official: a long kilt, knotted below his chest, and a plain wig with pointed ends. The inscription on the seat includes a short offering formula along with his name and titles. Offerings are depicted on top of the base in front of his toes.
