Bust from the statue of a man

late 25th Dynasty or early 26th Dynasty, ca. 670–610 BC

The man wears a smooth double wig that is typical for the 25th and early 26th Dynasties. The slight inclination of the upper body and the absence of a back pillar suggest that the bust derives from a scribe statue.
