“Astrolabia“ were used by astronomers, geographers and sailors to determine the position of the stars and their own location. The brass disc shows an engraved coordinate-system with equator and horizontal line, tropics and time zones. A special lattice that shows the signs of the zodiac and the position of the stars is missing.
