Stierkopfprotome

600 - 480 v. Chr.

Ovoid body, short cylindrical neck narrowing upwards, out-curved rim, handle from rim to shoulder, raised flat base. Spout in the shape of a bull-protome on shoulder opposite handle. The horns of the bull are broken. Pellet ears, swollen eyes marked with a black outline and filled with white paint. Bands of black paint on face. Horizontal bands of black paint around neckline, black and white bands around middle part of body.
