The Venetian head of State, Pasquale Cicogna (dead 1595) is depicted together with the emblem of his coat of arm, the stork. He is standing on the top of a mountain. Holding a banner in his hand, representing Lion of Saint Marcus, coat of arm of the Venetian Republic.
