Kreis- und Banddekor

750 - 600 v. Chr.

The spouted jug is of a known type, but is not a common type: Ovoid body, short concave neck, plain rim, basket-handle, narrow tubular spout on shoulder, flat base. A horizontal frieze of concentric circles around shoulder, on either side of the spout. Horizontal bands of black and red paint around shoulder and middle part of body. Black bands around neck, transversal bands on outer part of handle. Black bands along spout, circle around its base.
