Satyr
This figure, like the Bellerophon group in this case, is signed on the bottom – a rarity for small bronzes. While Adriano was solely the founder of the other work, for the satyr he also created the model. Usually two masters were responsible for the execution of a bronze: the modelling sculptor and the founder, who also produced cannons or bells.
