Paradise

The individual scenes of the Creation and the Fall of Man are presented here in a loose sequence. In the foreground is God’s commandment to Adam and Eve not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Behind it from right to left are the creation of Adam, the Fall of Man, the creation of Eve, the discovery of their transgression and their expulsion from Paradise.
