Menschen- und Tierköpfe, Dodekaeder
3. Viertel 16. Jahrhundert
Eleven human heads and one horse head are painted in water-colour onto the 12 pentagonal, paper-covered wooden surfaces of the polygon. When turned 180 degrees, the heads are visible again. Maybe the heads humorously refer to Archduke Ferdinand’s collection of portraits.
