Ausgehend von zwei Kinderbildnissen, zwischen denen 120 Jahre liegen, begegnen sich im Rahmen der Sonderpräsentation Ansichtssache diesmal Werke der beiden spanischen Hofmaler Diego Velázquez und Anton Raphael Mengs. Zwei frisch restaurierte Gemälde von Mengs aus dem Depot treffen auf Porträts von Velázquez und erzählen über sich wandelnde Ideale – in Bezug auf Kindererziehung ebenso wie auf Kunst.
