30th Dynasty, 1st half of the 4th century BC, Presumably from Sais
This statue of a kneeling man once stood in a temple. The nude female figure with the Lower Egyptian Crown in the small naos (shrine) he holds is Neith, goddess of the city of Sais. The name and titles of the statue owner and a text praising him are included in the inscription on the broad back pillar. The texts on the sides of the naos glorify Neith.
