No opera too long with you

27 August 2021

Conversation with Christiane Mühlegger-Henhape, Ursula Renner and Rudi Risatti
(in German language)

The exhibition Higher Powers, which will also feature Alfred Roller's disposal Für den Todesfall, is an opportunity to present the recently published correspondence between Hugo von Hofmannsthal, Richard Strauss and Alfred Roller entitled Mit dir keine Oper zu lang (No opera too long with you). The editors Christiane Mühlegger-Henhapel (Vienna, Theatermuseum) and Ursula Renner (Freiburg im Breisgau, retired professor at the University of Duisburg-Essen) shed light on the artistic relationships between these personalities in conversation with curator Rudi Risatti (Vienna, Theatermuseum) and shed light on a special collaboration in the history of music and theatre.
