Giambologna and His Workshop Giambologna met the great demand for his bronze statuettes by having members of his workshop such as Antonio Susini make reproductions. Thus many of his works exist in several versions based on the master’s originals. This also applies to depictions of individual animals or animal groups, which Giambologna modelled on sculptures from antiquity.
