Personal Landaulet of Empress Elisabeth

1885 | Carl Marius

This small carriage, well-suited for city traffic was used with an open roof in good weather. Only the green paint with delicate gilt edging and the crowns on the lanterns and carriage door indicate that this coupé was a court vehicle. The carriage was build for Empress Elisabeth who took it on journeys with her and used it for the last time before her assassination in Geneva. (MKR)
