The gilded copper body of this jug is made of four removable parts that are decorated with inlaid work made of coral and enamel. The handle is lost. This jug was probably part of a Lavabo set, the original plate is not existing anymore. Famous coral manufactories were in Trapani as well as in Marseille and Livorno.
