Coffin of Wepwawet-em-hat

Offering formulae cover the coffin’s exterior; inside, funerary equipment and a list of offerings are depicted with a headrest shown at the head end and sandals at the foot. (The floor of the coffin is not preserved.) The pair of wedjat-eyes enabled the deceased to gaze upon this life. The so-called decanal clock on the underside of the lid comprises a list of the stars for determining the hours of the night.
