1533 erwarb König Franz I. von Frankreich diesen goldenen Pokal mit seinem kostbaren Steindekor in Antwerpen. An der Kuppa erscheinen Reliefs mit bacchantisch-erotischen Szenen. Den Deckel bekrönt die aus einzelnen Diamanten zusammengefügte Figur des Erzengels Michael. Daher dürfte ein Bezug zum „Ordre de Saint Michel“ der französischen Könige bestehen.
