Die Garnitur aus hochkarätigem Gold umfasst mehr als siebzig Einzelteile. Sie zählt zu den wenigen weltweit erhaltenen Ensembles dieser Art. Geschaffen wurde sie wohl als Geschenk Maria Theresias für Franz I. Stephan, doch zeigt sie kaum Gebrauchsspuren. Schon 1781 wurde dieses Hauptwerk der Wiener Goldschmiedekunst in die Schatzkammer überstellt.
