Die Besonderheit der Statue des Snofru-nefer liegt darin, daß der Mann nackt dargestellt wird. Üblicherweise wird Nacktheit nur mit Kindern in Verbindung gebracht. Der jugendliche Körper, der im Gegensatz zum tatsächlichen Alter des Snofru-nefer steht, symbolisiert den Wunsch, sich im Jenseits zu verjüngen.
