Die Truchsesse waren die rangniedrigsten Würdenträger des Wiener Hofes, was sich auch in ihrer Kleidung widerspiegelte: Sie trugen Uniformen deren Stickerei das gleiche Muster zeigte, wie jene der Kämmerer, wobei es als Zeichen des niedrigeren Ranges jedoch nicht in Gold, sondern in Silber ausgeführt war. So wie alle Würdenträger verfügten die Truchsesse neben der Gala-Uniform mit reich gestickter Brust für feierliche Anlässe auch über die hier gezeigte "kleine" Uniform, die nur an Kragen, Manschetten und Patten bestickt war.
