Großer Zylinder mit Bauurkunde

Königliche Gründungs- und Bauinschriften wurden in Babylon auf Tonzylinder geschrieben. Dieser Zylinder trägt eine Bauurkunde des Königs Nebukadnezar II., in der die Wiederherstellung eines alten Tempels in Babylon erwähnt wird. Die Texte sind in Keilschrift verfasst. Sie sind in drei Kolumnen unterteilt, die einzelnen Zeilen verlaufen parallel zur Längsachse des Zylinders.
