Der kostbare Fingerring besteht aus dünnem Goldblech. In die vordere, ovale Platte ist das Reliefbild virtuos eingraviert: Aphrodite, mit einem Polos auf dem Haupt, steht entspannt und mit dem rechten Arm auf eine Säule gestützt. Mit ihrer linken Hand reicht sie dem Eros eine Taube, die im Begriff ist wegzufliegen. Eros greift rasch nach dem begehrten Spielzeug. Der Fingerring ist Teil eines Schmuckensembles aus einem unteritalischen Grab.
