Hals, Körper und Fuß des aus dem antiken Siscia stammenden Gefäßes bilden keine organische Einheit, sie scheinen vielmehr aus verschiedenen Einzelteilen zusammengesetzt: Auf dem rechteckigen geschweiften Fuß sitzt ein weitausladender trommelförmiger Gefäßkörper, aus dem der lange konische Hals mit dem schnabelförmigen Ausguß emporwächst. Der Reliefschmuck besteht auf Vorder- und Rückseite aus je einem weiblichen Kopf vom Typus einer klassizistischen Aphrodite, aus Tierprotomen (Löwe, Stier, Hund, Ziege, Tiger, Hirsch), und Rankengewinden auf den Schmalseiten sowie aus Akanthusblättern auf dem Gefäßhals.
