Infantin Margarita Teresa (1651-1673) in rosafarbenem Kleid

Margarita Teresa (1651-1673) war das erste Kind aus der Ehe König Philipps IV. und seiner zweiten Frau Maria Anna von Österreich. Schon früh war sie als Braut Kaiser Leopolds I. (des Bruders ihrer Mutter) auserkoren worden. Deshalb sandte der spanische Hof im Abstand von zwei bis drei Jahren ihre Bildnisse nach Wien. Das erste zeigt die Prinzessin im Alter von drei Jahren.
