Stele for Senebef and Ipta

The inscription mentions that this stele was erected along the processional avenue at Abydos so that the owner might participate symbolically in the mysteries in honor of Osiris that took place there. The figures to the right and left of the ankh (the sign of life) are Senebef and Ipta. Above, Senebef’s other is shown.
