Statue of the god Imi-khent-wer

19th Dynasty, reign of Ramesses II, 1304–1237 BC;, presumably from the vicinity of Memphis

Statue of the god Imi-khent-wer

This figure is the only known statue of Imikhent-wer, a local god of Lower Egypt. The inscription names the god and the king who commissioned the sculpture, but the latter’s name is not complete. Probably he was Ramesses II, although a later king of the 20th to 25th Dynasty is also possible.
